What is a promo pool? How DJs get house music before release
How promo pools work, why labels use them, and what to look for before you sign up.
Pre-release promo pool · House & underground
A pre-release promo pool for house and underground DJs, labels and playlist owners. Pay a small support deposit per download and earn it back when you play, chart or review the track. Playlist owners get early access to the music and a curated inbox of new tracks. Labels upload for free, earn on every download and see exactly who supported them.
Closed beta from December. Places are limited, so apply through the waitlist.
The loop
How it works
Apply once. We vet every DJ.
Preview, then pay a small fee per track.
Share the link, get credits back.
Get in. Apply via the waitlist. We check every DJ, so the pool stays a place where promos get played, not hoarded.
Download early. Browse pre-release tracks by label, genre, BPM or key. Preview first, then download for a small fee per track.
Play it, report it, earn back. Add the mix, tracklist, chart or radio show link. Once your support is verified you get credits back for your next downloads.
Promo, artwork and release date.
Vetted DJs. Watermarked files.
A share of every download, with evidence.
Upload for free. Add your promo, artwork and release date. Your track stays in the pool from promo date until release.
Reach DJs beyond your list. Vetted DJs who aren't on your mailing list can find and download your music. Every file gets a unique watermark.
Get paid and see the proof. You earn a share of every download, paid out monthly. Your dashboard shows who played, charted, playlisted or reviewed each track, with a link to the evidence.
Apply with your playlist. Real listeners only.
Add tracks on release day.
Verified adds earn credits back.
Get in. Apply with your playlist link. We check every playlist for real listeners, so the pool stays clean of bots and pay-to-play lists.
Hear it first. Browse pre-release house and underground promos before anyone else and add the tracks you love on release day.
Playlist it, earn back. A verified playlist add counts as support, like a DJ play. You get credits back and the label sees your playlist in its dashboard. After beta you'll also get an inbox of tracks submitted by DJs and producers. You decide what goes in, and nobody can pay you for placement.
Why Supportd
Played it out, playlisted it, charted it or reviewed it? Send us the link and you get credits back. DJs who play the music end up paying very little.
Playlist owners hear promos before release and add them on release day. Every verified playlist add shows up in the label's dashboard next to DJ plays and charts. Only real playlists with real listeners get in.
No monthly campaign fees. Uploading is free, and you get a share of every download, including downloads paid for with earned credits. Statements are monthly and broken down per track and per artist.
One place for DJ plays, playlist adds, charts, radio spins and feedback. Each entry shows its evidence link and a verification level, so you can tell "will play" from "played". You can share it with your artists or export it to CSV.
Swap tracks with DJs who share your sound. See Spend your credits ↓
Tracks are in the pool before release and nowhere else. On release day the pool links to the stores, so store sales and charts stay with the label.
A small fee per download, with credits back for verified support. Nobody pays for placement on a playlist or in the pool, no label gets boosted, and the ranking rules are published.
Spend your credits · Coming after beta
Every verified play, playlist add, chart or review earns you credits, whether you're a DJ or a playlist owner. Use them for your next promos or for things money alone can't get you on Supportd: label exclusives, an honest listen for your own track, and swaps with DJs who'll actually play it. Support the music, get Supportd back.
Extended and dub versions, early access before the promo window opens, and specials that labels release only to their supporters. The label decides what's special. Your support history unlocks it.
Made a track yourself? Spend credits on a guaranteed review by playlist owners on Supportd and by our own playlists and charts, with feedback on what works and what doesn't. That's a guaranteed review, never paid placement. Tracks get in on merit only.
Swap tracks with DJs who share your sound. Every verified play you give through a swap earns credits like any other support. Credits can't buy plays or reputation.

DJ, label or playlist owner, there's a place for you in the beta.
Beta places are limited and go out from the waitlist. Labels that want to join as founding labels can say so in the form.

FAQ
Only labels that own or control the master can upload, and they have to confirm that their distributor allows promo or pool use. We accept originals and cleared remixes, not bootlegs or uncleared edits. Every upload is checked, and we deal with takedown requests quickly.
You can only use credits on Supportd. During the beta they pay for downloads. After the beta you'll also be able to spend them on exclusives and playlist reviews. They can't be turned into cash or transferred. Credits you earn back from verified support go straight into your balance for your next downloads.
You can use credits to get your track heard, but not to buy a place on a playlist. After the beta, credits will buy a guaranteed review by playlist owners on Supportd and by our own playlists and charts, plus feedback. Whether the track gets in depends only on the music. Nobody can pay for placement, with credits or money, because that wouldn't be fair to listeners or to the artists who get in on merit. We cap submissions per period so every track gets a proper listen, and we publish how many tracks we accept.
Early access to pre-release promos, so you can add tracks on release day instead of weeks later. Every verified playlist add earns you credits back, and labels see your playlist in their support dashboard, which gets you on their radar. After the beta you'll also get an inbox of submitted tracks with feedback requests. You always decide what you add. Nobody can pay you for a place, with credits or money, and we remove playlists that sell placements or use bots.
House and underground DJs, radio hosts, playlist owners and producers who actually play out, plus labels that release this music. We check everyone who applies. The beta is invite-only from the waitlist.
The small fee per download pays the label and keeps out people who only collect files. If you play the music and report it, you get most of it back.
You get a share of every download, collected into a monthly statement per track and artist. Payouts go out once your balance reaches a minimum, and anything below that rolls over to the next month.
You send a public link, such as a mix, tracklist, chart or radio show page, that lists the track. We check it. The more solid the evidence, the more credits you get back. Labels see the evidence and its verification level.
Every download carries a unique inaudible watermark and tagged metadata, and download links expire. Leaks can be traced to the account they came from, and that account gets banned.
It doesn't have to. Keep your A-list where it is. Supportd reaches the working DJs and playlist owners who aren't on any list and turns their support into data you can use.
